#asktheexpert my daughter 19 months old she have constipation prblm we consult a doctor he gave some medicine then she have a proper πŸ’© poop on the mrng but after stop that medicine she don't poop if we give medicine only she poop on time it's really very big problem for me plz give any solution for this

A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child ixs having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables xand fruits avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.
