#AskTheExpert My child was having loose motion and because of that we postponed his vaccination. He is 3 months old now. It is already 8 days due. Please tell me minimum how many days of gap is good or not for the routine vaccine.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. it may be any viral. Loose stool may be sign of any viral infection or any food poisoning . Limit of milk along with probiotics like enterogermina and zinc will help In these . ORS is to be given in sufficient quantity as baby drink to prevent any dehydration .

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Breastfed babies often pass more than 6 stools per day. Until 2 months of age, they may pass a stool after each feeding. But, if stools suddenly increase in number and looseness, suspect diarrhea. If it lasts for 3 or more stools, the baby has diarrhea.
