Q.

#asktheexpert my child repeats whenever I ask him something. he gives answers sometimes. He is not swallowing/chewing foods like rice/dal. He is eating crispy items by himself. What could be the problem?

A. hi seems normal because repeating what you say is a natural way for them to practice forming sounds, words and sentences we can call it echolalia but as it can be sign of ASd in kid, better to check with your pediatrician for once and if your child understand the questions you are asking and can answer yes or no,able to point to the things you name and not repeating certain words only then no need to worry
