Q.

#AskTheExpert my child is pooping almost 3-4 times a day..very little amount every time. is it something to be worried? and her body temperature is feeling warm but temperature is normal while testing. please tell me if all these are normal?

A. Stool pattern of small children changes from time to time. It can be more than 7 times per day also and sometimes the child will not pass stool for 10 days also. The most important thing is the consistency of the stool and if it is Semix solid to solid or semi liquid then there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour as well as the smell of the stool Also straining and crying while passing urine and stool is very normal
