#AskTheExpert My child is almost 2 1/2 years old. He himself stopped breastfeeding 3months ago in the night also. but once in 15 days or a month he again asks for feeding in between sleep once. He will not accept any other thing at that time. Is it ok or should I consult any doctor.

This is a normal behaviour dear. Actually mother's feed provide soothness to baby and calm him. Sometimes baby just needs it for relaxation not actually milk. I breastfed my son till 3.5 year and I face the same issue sometimes when I wean him. That's normal.

it will be better to stop not to offer feed.. as baby has stop giving mother milk...
don't give in between..
try to divert as the baby demand for feed again..
give solids intake or milk..
