#AskTheExpert my child is 3 months old. He is on mother’s milk. Can we start external diet ? If so what can we start with ?

A. Dear mum, no, you should not start external diet for your child at the age of 3 months. You should exclusively breastfeed your baby till the completion of 6 months.

A. hi no you cannot. baby should be exclusively breast fed till six months. breast milk is sufficient to meet all nutritional requirements of baby till six months. any kind of solids and water to be given after baby is six months old. happy parenting
