Q.

#AskTheExpert my child is 3.5 years old but weight only 12.9 kg. he is hyperactive. i don't have junk at all and gets only home made and healthy food. his diet also seems fine in accordance to his age. can I give anything to make him gain weight. he is super skinny.

A. weight is good. you can start supplements like iron calcium and multivitamin regularly and protein powder with milk twice a day as diet alone can't meet nutritional requirements of a growing child

A. So if your child is really fond of eating and is eating jolly well as for the age then I will tell you two things first of all increase the amount of proteins into your child’s daily diet that’s going to be really very beneficial for the child and secondly I would recommend you to start with an iron supplement along with that just go ahead with giving multivitamin to the child at least for 3 to 6 monthsWrite Your Answer Here
