Q.

#asktheexpert my child has been on pureed food and when I am now trying to replace it with solids, she refuses and inspite of explaining many times, doesn't understand how to chew her food. what should I do?

A. Hello give finger foods like carrot sticks, beetroot sticks which child can suck on & try to chew. Give soft solids like porridge upma which don't need mashing. gradually give child only whole cooked foods, not mashed. even if child eats little, do not worry.
