A. Dear mum, give all family foods to your child. Give top food 5 times a day and up to one katori every time. This should include two healthy snacks in between. You should give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day which includes milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Breastfeed baby till 2 years. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add dry fruits like almonds to baby’s diet. Add ghee to every meal.
