if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation.
give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child
it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fdruits
avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet and processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food
adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapdple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation.

If child pass stool every 2-3 day that’s fine
Healthy eating and drinking can help baby feel better too And foods that are high in fibre are good for avoiding constipation These foods include cereals, fruits and vegetables Drinking plenty of water will also help baby to avoid constipation and stay hydrated
