#asktheexpert my breast veins are swelled and feeling inflammation pain around areola, it happens every after 1-2weeks . My baby is now 7 month old and I m breastfeeding her

A. hi j milk duct gets blocked. sucking action of baby is the most effective remedy. try different feeding positions too to empty breast completely. make sure your baby drains the breast completely. avoid congestion. watch and palpate for any hardness in breast due to blocked duct, redness, pain , fever. then immediately consult gynaecologist.
