Q.
#AskTheExpert My boy baby is 5 month old. taking only mother feed. He is not going for Toilet. He used to go 4 days once. Doctor advised to take juice for mother and avoid junk foods. And prescribes Lactoloose for baby. Even we are following doctor advice, he used to go toilet 3 days once only. kindly advise what extra care to be taken for.. Thanks

Dear ma’am, some babies do not poop for upto one week also but as long as the baby is comfortable, feeding well, and also gaining weight then nothing to worry: limit your milk intake. Drink plenty of fluids. And you can give lukewarm tummy bath everyday and also gentle abdominal massages to stimulate the muscles and help ease constipation
