#asktheexpert my boy age 5 yrs old.he had fever from sep monthly once..what's is the reason.wat we check .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. your history tells us that the child is suffering from viral fever and in viral fever you have to give only symptomatic treatment that is for fevzer have to give paracetamol(max 4 times per day if needed) and plenty of water to drink and at least 60 to 70% of the regular diet and if the fever continues beyond 3 days then meet the doctorz please do body sponge that is body wiping to decrease the body temperature with wet cotton cloth.

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello since the child is having fever from a long time it would be better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which would be better and also safe and may require further investigation
