#AskTheExpert My bbay is having fever 2 days ago it was 102.5... Now he doesn't have fever but not eating anything since last 3 days.. He is just taking my breastfeeding.. All r saying its just viral but I have doubt that he is positive.. Please guide

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. canbbe done now. Breastfeeding is considered the best source of natural immunity and also all the antibodies to a newborn baby . Doctor s don't recommend formula milk as it is not required at all . exclusive breastfeeding is the best for good immunity and baby health , reduces colic and gas issues and helps in the overall brain development of the baby. No water , ghutti or honey or any other syp is given till 6 months of age .

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children3 years agoA. just a viral fever may be it will take at least 5-7days follow the doctor.. keep baby well hydrated.. monitor the temperature at regular intervals.. follow the doctor.. take care..
