A. This happens because of acid reflux in which acid from stomach travels up the throat. Feed the baby in an upright position and do not over feed. Avoid foods like citrus foods, spicy foods, carbonated drinks etc. while you are breastfeeding. It can also happen because of immature digestive system. Feed frequently rather than feeding in one go. If your baby is bottle fed, check the nipple hole to make sure the milk flow is proper and not too much for the baby to handle. Burp the baby between and after each feed.
