#asktheexpert my baby weight is not gaining much. Her birth weight was 3.2kg now it’s 2 months 7 days her weight is 4.2kg.

A. hi mom weight is fine each month babies can gain around half a kg by 6 months babies weight almost tripples by his birth weight stay safe

A. 1 kg is ideally the right weight for a two month old child seems like a child is doing fine but still if you do not see a proper gain in the time of third month completion which should be another 500 g then in that case if you want you can check with the doctor and start giving formula feeding along with your breastfeeding
