#asktheexpert my baby weight is 6.6 kgs she is 7 month old... she was doing potty n vomit from last Thursday...now she is ok..pla tell me about her weight is it ok? if not pls suggest how to increase weight

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its ghknown as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration ius required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

The child is quite underweight currently maybe that has happened because of the issue that your child was going through because when a child is having constant vomiting and diarrhoea it’s normal for them to look down a little bit of it but currently I would recommend you that you should definitely go ahead with giving a more of proteins to your child in daily diet that’s what is going to be important and essentialWrite Your Answer Here
