ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. weight gain depends upon genetic factors birth weight and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding it quickly don't worry about it it should draw double the birth weight by five months of age in1 year of age

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom. Yes the weight of ur baby is fine.. The weight of eight months baby should be anywhere between 6-9 kgs.. If ur baby is active and playful then no need to worry about weight much. Take care
