Q.
#asktheexpert my baby was white when he was born but cuz of jaundice we kept him in the sun... like from massaging to take bath n after bath we kept him under sun in the noon for almost more than a hour(wintees-dec toJanuary )n he became black.... not he's quite fine with his complexion but body is still dark.... will this never change... will he never get his color back

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Baby's complexion or color totally depends on the genes. Also the real skin color of the baby will be visible only after six months. You can try some home remedies. Give her oil massage before bathing. Use a mixture of gram flour(home made) and turmeric powder (pure one) instead of soap while bathing. But before using it for her full body do a patch test for one of two days by applying in one small area of her body and see if there is any allergic reaction
