#AskTheExpert My Baby tested covid positive and also tested negative after few days, but the covid cough is not getting rid of him, he is coughing a lot in spite of being taken cough syrups,and the cough sounds are also being so different, he might have so much of mucus. please suggest any remedy to get rid of this.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Try to prevent temperature variations around the child. Give warm waterf to drink. For running nose and cold you can give drops wikoryl a f 0.5 ml 2 times per day. For cough andd cold give nasal saline drops. You can also go for steam inhalation. Give home remedies like Tulsi Ginger water to the child and honey can be added if the childf is more than 1 year of age. Meet the doctor if there is no improvement in few days

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom. Give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day. This will help in liquifying mucus and clear the chest congestion. Also apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough
