Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby started babbling-making noises like 'coo', 'gaga', 'oooh' and 'mmm'- at 3 months. He used to make these sounds throughout the day. Now at 5 months, he had drastically reduced making such sounds. Hardly once a day I can hear such sounds from him. This has especially started after I started feeding him small quantities of solid food ( as per doctor's recommendation ) Is this normal ? how can I encourage him to make more sounds?

A. Hello mom Solids are no part to play in this for making sounds all fine you can just encourage the child and engage in a conversation so that he can make some sounds you can show him some picture books age appropriate
