#asktheexpert my baby's weight is 4kg and he is 3 months old. is it ok as he is not gaining the weight.

A. Hello mam A new born double it’s birth weight by 6 months and triple the birth weight by 1 year If the child is passing urine 6-7 times a day, active when awake and having the feed properly then do not worry about the weight until and unless it’s very very low

A. good morning it is advisable to not just to feed your baby at proper intervals to make sure the baby is able to gain weight it is also important that you massage for baby on a daily basis for healthy weight gain
