#AskTheExpert my baby's stool is always dark green in colour.... why is it so and also is this a matter of concern...

A. hi, no worries ots also n normal finding in babies.. if u r giving fm, than Certain brands of formula milk resulting in green poop.or Imbalance in foremilk and hind milk also causes green stools.

A. Green poop may indicate a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies, which results in your baby is getting a larger portion of foremilk (watery milk) than hindmilk (thicker, fattier milk). Though this can cause tummy discomfort, it doesn't indicate a milk supply issue or problem with your milk.
