#asktheexpert My baby's S Bilirubin is 11(Indirect) on day before Yesterday and 13.62(Indirect) on 25th Oct..He has physiological jaundice..How long jaundice lasts in infants?? what are the precautions to prevent..Please reply..Thanks..

A. Jaundice is usually asked for a day or two but in some cases it can last for more than 3 to 4 days also depending from situation to situation and also the doctor advised to keep the phototherapy till that I am the level does not become normal so just talk to your doctor and understand better as they have a fair idea about it
