Q.

#asktheexpert My baby's gums are bleeding with the slightest touch. We have consulted a pediatrist he prescribed a gel. But she doesnt allow to apply that. Any home remedy suggestions

A. kindly applies zytee gel / dologel over the ulcer / paining area in the oral cavity. you can use your finger to apply the gel and rotate the finger blindly in the oral cavity. do not worry about the ingestion of this gel. this will only help in decreasing the pain as well as will help in faster healing. it is also advisable to start a multivitamin supplement after consultinxg the doctor for this problem. give fluids / juices in diet to the child. see that child xis not suffering from constipation. meet dr if not improving

A. I think it could probably be due to sensitivity or any other issue you’ll have to go ahead with what your doctors advising because there is no such home remedy without understanding the proper reasoning behind it other than sensitivity so please try and apply the gel that your doctor has advised you to use
