A. If your baby is rubbing her nose frequently during sleep, it could be due to nasal congestion, dryness, or itchiness. Here are some steps to help her sleep more comfortably: 1. Use Saline Nasal Drops: Saline drops, like saline solution drops for infants (e.g., Nasoclear or other similar brands), can help clear any nasal congestion. These are safe for babies but consult your pediatrician for the exact dosage and instructions. 2. Use a Humidifier: A humidifier in the room can help keep the air moist, which may relieve nasal dryness and congestion. 3. Elevate Her Head Slightly: Slightly elevating her head can help with congestion, but always ensure her sleeping position is safe and on her back. 4. Check for Allergens: Sometimes, dust or other allergens can irritate babies. Regularly clean bedding and ensure her sleep area is dust-free. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a pediatrician to rule out allergies or other underlying conditions.
