#asktheexpert My baby poops after a week he is on mother's milk .Is It OK or not ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. it is considered as normal according to age and according to the details you have mentioned it is considered as acceptable for the age ,you should not worry it does not require any kind of treatment or medicine
if you have any more doubt you can get your child checked once by the doctor available nearby and get further guidance regarding this.constipation in small babies is very commonly seen and is more when you are giving formula feeding in such a case you can give Himalaya bonnisan drops three times a day to your child and give frequent feeding usually medicines or suppositories are avoided in such a case and constipation of few days can be considered as normal. if the baby is having gastric pain you can give collimax drops.if you need to give any enzyme preparation to your child you can consult doctor.give proper tummy time and burping to avoid gastric trouble.
