A. Green and thin stool in babies can be normal and is often caused by diet, foremilk-hindmilk imbalance (in breastfed babies), teething, or mild digestive changes. If your baby is active, feeding well, and showing no signs of discomfort, there is usually no need to worry. However, if the stool is frequent, watery, has mucus, or is accompanied by fever, vomiting, or weight loss, it could indicate an infection, food intolerance, or digestive issue. In such cases, consulting a pediatrician is recommended for proper evaluation. Keep your baby hydrated and monitor for any changes in stool pattern.
