#AskTheExpert My baby pass stools once in week, that too very hard. He is on solids. Is it normal.

A. after introducing weaning food and complementary food it is important to see that the food you have introduced should not cause constipation or gas formation in the child. it is important to introduce fiber diet and plenty of water for the child in the form of pulses cereals vegetables and fruits. you can add papaya pear oats which will help in decreasing the chances of constipation. Give plenty of water to drink if the problem continues your doctor will add constipation medicine like polythene glycol. meet your doctor for examination

A. Then it’s probably first of all your child is not having sufficient amount of water into the body too hard motion and its chronic case of constipation I would definitely recommend that you should consult your doctor ones regarding the same
