A. Hello good morning !! New borns,infants always want to latch as they feel soothed warmth while latching and they have dream feed eventually again latches ,cries if unlatches. Feed 20-30 minutes and make baby sleep ,gently pattimg,rubbing on back,rocking after proper burping they habituats to sleep . Daily massage,feed and burp helps in good sleep at a stretch. If baby gains less weight,cries even after feed,pees less than 7-8 times a day then baby is not getting enough feed. Improve milk production or supplement with both breast milk and formula milk .
