#AskTheExpert my baby is two and a half months old. He is sleeping for straight 5hrs sometimes. is it okay to leave him to sleep without feeding for that much time? please advice.

A. Dear mum, it is fine if your baby continues to sleep for 4 to 5 hours at a stretch without feeding. You should feed baby on demand. If baby is active, alert and passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then feeding is adequate.
