#asktheexpert My baby is too much colic and passing too much gas. She wakes up and cries everytime she passes gas..any remedy for this ? She is only breastfed

Colic in babies is a very common issue and it's matter of concern for parents as the baby is extremely irritable and inconsolable by most of the means. Exclusive breastfeeding with a proper buprinfttyg and keeping the baby in an upright position will be helpful. Antiflatulence medicine like semithicone , probiotics and enzyme preparations may be helrpful. Maternal lifestyle and dietary habbits are also contributory and important.
