Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is suffering from cold since 5days and mucus is coming out from nose and as well as from eyes... is it normal to come mucus from eyes...?

A. it may be eye infection kindly maintain hygiene of the eyes and clean it with with clean water. normally simple secretions / allergy redness should not occur again and again. use hygienic cloth as well as your hands should be clean when coming in zcontact with the child eyes if the child's eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge coming out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection . do not use any drops witout medical consultation

A. In what form is the mucus coming out like in the inner edge of the eye so that would be completely normal it’s not a problem but keep cleaning the eyes with warm water and please check with your paediatrician regarding the issue
