Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.
Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water tco drink
If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
paracetamol for fever and pain.

You should consult your doctor for proper medication also you haven’t mentioned the age of your child so it’s best that you consult your paediatrician they’ll be able to help you guide you and assist you with right medicines and if any precaution do you need to take along with the medicines that you gave
