#asktheexpert my baby is refusing breastfeeding and prefers bottle feeding mam. how should I change her to take breastfeed again.. please help me mam.. I am very worried about it.. if I take near my breast she is crying a lot

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. very important to see that position and attachment while breastfeeding the child is proper.
if improper the child will continue to suck for long hrs without getting any milk
meet lactational counsellor who will guide regarding this.
see videos on you tube for breastfeeding position and attachment.
take plenty of water, home made diet, seasonal fruits and vegetables, milk forx increasing breast milk for yourself.
take 15 to 30 days weight and growth assessment by the doctor.

You should give breastfeeding to the child by expressing your breastfeed with a bottle maybe the bottle feeding is more comfortable because they do not have to put more of an effort on bottlefeeding which is why they prefer more of it once you introduce it so express your breastfeed or whenever you’re feeding your child on your breast breast with your own hand for better flow of milk for the child
