#asktheexpert my baby is preterm premature he was born when he was 31 weeks old, now he is 1 and half month by his birth date, bt his corrected age is 1 year 4 month, still he is not started walking, he is just standing by his own and walking with support.. what should I do

A. A child usually learns to work independently between the time of 12 to 17 months and since your child is basically a premature child you can expect a delay of a month or two but then also your child by the time of 19 to 20 months then you can consult the doctor
