Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you have to give only breastfeeding /milk to the child till completion of 6 months of age and before 6 months of age if you are giving any type of outside food or complementary feeding it can cause digestion problem in the child.
no need to give water also because breast milk contains 80% of water and water also is given after six months of age only.
it is advisable to continue the the multi vitamin and supplement medicines given by your doctor.
in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.d
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. Well first of all what was the birthdate of the child that you haven’t mentioned so in three months if your child has gained a minimum of 1200 g that means your child is getting appropriately well as per the age with your breast feeding and it’s not that you can go ahead with giving formula feeding as wellWrite Your Answer Here
