A. It's great to hear that your baby is now 46 days old and has reached a weight of 2.9 kg. Here's some information regarding her weight and feeding: Weight Considerations Weight Gain: Since your baby was born prematurely, weight gain can vary. Ideally, babies should gain about 150-200 grams per week. Your baby has gained approximately 1 kg (from 1.9 kg to 2.9 kg) in 46 days, which is a positive sign. Growth Chart: It's important to consult with your pediatrician to ensure your baby's weight is on track according to the growth chart for preterm infants. Feeding Breastfeeding: Exclusive breastfeeding is excellent for your baby, providing essential nutrients. Feeding every two hours is appropriate, especially for a preterm baby. Spoon Feeding: If the doctor has recommended spoon feeding, it may be to help with her feeding technique or to encourage her to consume more. Ensure that the food is appropriate for her age and that you're following the doctor's guidance. Recommendations Continue Breastfeeding: Keep breastfeeding on demand, ensuring she is feeding frequently. Follow Doctor's Guidance: Stick to the feeding schedule and recommendations given by your doctor, including any prescribed feeding techniques. Monitor Weight: Regularly check her weight and discuss any concerns with your healthcare provider. If you have any specific questions or concerns, such as the types of foods suitable for spoon feeding, feel free to ask!
