#asktheexpert my baby is one year four months old but she doesn't walk.Is that a problem?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even ldonger but in no case any Walker shoulsd be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

Every baby is different in achieving milestone.
Some babies they start to walk late..
babies they can start to walk anytime between 12-18 months.
Massage your baby legs daily and give milk and milk products rich in calcium for strong bones and muscles .U cab massage with any oil which is pure like babyhug daily massage oil.
