#AskTheExpert my baby is now in 5th month. She keeps sucking her hands even after full feed. Is she teething or any other reasons?

yes sucking fingers or biting over stuffs are signs of teething phase..
give your kid chilled silicone based teething rings to chew on.
gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip or moist cold cotton cloth

Yes teething can actually happen any time after three months so that could possibly be one reason you can check the gums of your child you have a better clarity that way because this is the most common reason and sometimes it is just a casual habit that they get into
