#asktheexpert my baby is not in sitting position and age is 7 month 6 days

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 1vh2 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury afnd delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please massage baby back with coconut oil and almond oil. Make the baby sit with the help of a support. Also it is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise accordingly.
