A. sucking fingers is a part of milestones. give only breastmilk till completion of six months. feed in upright position and burp in-between and after feeding sessions and give colicaid drops thrice a day

A. the baby is 3 months old and she hardly feeds for 5 or 10 mins. can I start any other food apart from breast milk ? or should I continue with breastmilk only ? I have had consulted my baby doc, he says that she should not be fed till she turns 6 months old. he advised me to continue with breastfeed only. kindly advice.

A. If your newborn baby is constantly sucking on their hands and you think it's a hunger cue, you may want to talk to your pediatrician as well. It's possible that your baby isn't getting as much breast milk as you think, leaving them hungry all the time, or that there's a problem with their latch or sucking reflex.
