Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby is not doing breast feeding. he is 22 days old. He had latching issues. i have tried many things but nothing worked. please suggest what to do for proper latching and breastfeeding.

A. Hi ..try to latch directly to your breast..and also Continue spoon feeding as well.. give your baby is in the right position, Lightly compress your breast, giving it a shape more closely resembling your baby's mouth. Turn her mouth toward your breast; then tickle her lips with your nipple until her mouth is open wide.Allowing her to take your nipple and areola into her mouth. you can use nipple shield.

A. it takes time for babies to learn latching.. slowly and gradually they learn.. sit in comfortable position, keep the baby head little lifted up try to comfort baby as you feed.. rub the baby head back.. you can express milk and feed also..
