#AskTheExpert my baby is having sore throat. and her voice is little heavy . there is no other symptoms she is 5 month old.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. give steam inhalation to baby as common cold or cough is mostly viral in origin .
You can start with home remedies like giving steam inhalation which helps from cold.
avoid direct AC air keep temperature at 26-28 degree.

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 8 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, give steam once in a day. Exclusively breastfeed which is best for baby. Add a pinch of turmeric and pepper to lukewarm milk and drink it and then feed your baby. keep monitoring the body temperature. Please consult paediatrician and start with the basic cough medicine.
