#asktheexpert my baby is gaining 500 gms of weight every month from his 5th month onwards and is in his 8th month nw...before that the weight gain was 800 -1200 gms...otherwise he is active acheivinghis milestones...feeding well solids as well as breastmilk and formula..hw was a 35wk old premie with low birth weight (1.9kg) .Is it normal if the baby is healthy?

A. yes dear weight gain of your baby is normal and fine also as you mentioned baby is achieving the growth milestones and is active play ful these indicate optimum growth and development give top food 3 times a day along with continued breastfeeding
