#AskTheExpert my baby is doing thick potty and he pressures alot while doing it. is there any specific care shld I take to avoid it? he is on breastfeed and partially give formula milk thrice in a day.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digestsed by the child and you will have to change the brand of formula milk.
also do not give axny food to the child except milk at this age.
