Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can givge bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications arte required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

Then you should check with your doctor because this is constipation is normal course of business very common but hard motion can be a problem for the child which is why I would recommend you to kindly check it up with your doctor to have better clarity as per the situation
