#AskTheExpert My baby is born on November 2022..She spits up a lot of phlegm though I have nothing cold.. Even after giving drops she is continuing to do so..Am worried.. pls let me know how to cure it . she is exclusively breastfed..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child
you can go for indirect steam ixnhalation which will again help in decreasing both cough and cold
continue the regular diet of the child
if there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctor
for feverx and pain give paracetamol.
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.
