#AskTheExpert my baby is around 10 days old now, we have been giving him breast milk through pumping, currently he is drinking around 90 ml, is this OK or we reduce the quantity?

Your number of breastfeeding sessions per day may be anywhere from 4 – 13, depending on his or her appetite and how much milk is removed from the breast during each session.Your newborn will probably take about 2 to 3 ounces every 3 hours (14 to 28 ounces per day). From 1 month to 6 months of age, your baby will take an average of 3 to 3 1/2 ounces every three hours (25 oz to 26 oz of breast milk each day).
