Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is almost 8months..but is still not sitting up by herself.. with little support she can sit but not independently.. by when should they sit.. baby was born underweight but gained well afterwards..now from 2 months gained less than 1kg..how to improve the weight

A. sitting with support is also fine in this age group so don't worry about it maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output maintain hygeine in the area clean with Luke warm

A. Hi mom Every baby is different in achieving milestone. Babies they start to sit independently when they are of 8-9 months old. so no need to worry. Include ghee, dry fruits powder, banana, potatoes, rice, avocado ,ragi, sweet potatoes etc in ur baby diet for weight gain
